Highfield`s Orange

This name would suggest that this is an orange bloomer! However, I tend to think it leans to the orange-red rather than a bright orange. Oh, what’s in a shade – it’s a super variety!

Everybody always admires this variety and rightly so – no words are needed…simply see the picture! Grows tall - my mother, being the honest woman she is, once described this in our catalogue as ‘a ghastly grower’ and was surprised that she promptly sold out of all the plants …so some must like ‘ghastly tall growers’….but I suspect it’s the beautiful flower really!!
