Amethyst (one plant)
(
W Elsner 1962
)
Large purple flowers on a short jointed plant. About the best in this colour, always in bloom so your baskets will shine all summer long.
Only: £1.70
Crock-a-Day (one plant)
(
K Day 1989
)
This is a lovely variety – the leaves are veined and the flowers are lilac and white in a ‘striped’ effect – very unusual.
Only: £2.20
Crocketta (one plant)
(
Holland
)
Another excellent veined foliage. The leaves are like Crocodile and the flower is like Rouletta - hence the name!
Only: £2.20
Crocodile (one plant)
(
T Both 1957
)
Clear veined leaves with magenta pink flowers – lovely.
Only: £1.70
Decora Imperial (one plant)
(
Bury 1973
)
This is the best selling of all the continental varieties! When you go to Europe this is the one you are most likely to see in the window boxes and hanging baskets outside almost every house. This variety is a lovely bright scarlet red.
Only: £1.70
Decora Lavender (one plant)
(
Bury 1979
)
This variety has a most attractive lavender pink colour and is a popular choice. If you are growing a mixed basket then this can add to the beauty as it smothers itself in lilac flowers. Or grow them on their own for a “ball” of colour. The Decoras don’t need any pinching - they just naturally grow into a bushy shape. If you are only going to grow one basket this year then make it a Decora basket.
Only: £1.70
Galilee (one plant)
(
Lemoine 1882
)
The popular free flowering rose pink variety. One that goes back to Victorian days and is a good performer.
Only: £1.70
