Appleblossom Rosebud (1870)

This much sought after variety dates back to Victorian days, but whenever it is seen we are always asked “is it new?”! We have a large area in our stock houses of just this one variety and it looks a real picture during the summer months. It is a good sturdy grower and the flowers open up just like Appleblossom – with a greenish centre, white petals and pink edging to each petal – a very beautiful variety.

	Appleblossom Rosebud X 5
	The most popular geranium and much admired. It was first shown to the world in 1870 and is reported as being Queen Victoris's favourite geranium. The flower head opens as rosebuds in delicate shades of white, green and pink. Most beautiful and one for showing off in the conservatory, on the patio in a sheltered spot or on a sunny windowsill. Pack of five.

Aztec (Schmidt 1962)
A white base with strawberry and bronze blotches on each petal. A compact and bushy plant. Certainly one of the best Regals available.

This is super popular and it’s easy to see why with it’s lovely flowers of cherry red with a white eye.

Faye Brawner (B West 2002)

One of the late Brian West's last introductions - and what a superb variety - it's stunning. Brian was one of the Uk's most repsected breeders, introducing many wonderful varieties over a long period - we have many of his in our collection. Faye Brawner is a famous geranium breeder from West Viriginia in America and regularly visits the UK, whizzing around the country to collect up new varieties for her breeding work.

Mr Wren (Conn USA )
Everybody always admires this variety and rightly so – no words are needed…simply see the picture! Grows tall - my mother, being the honest woman she is, once described this in our catalogue as ‘a ghastly grower’ and was surprised that she promptly sold out of all the plants …so some must like ‘ghastly tall growers’….but I suspect it’s the beautiful flower really!!

	Phyllis - Unique (Hopley Nursery )
	This one is real beauty. It has wonderful green and gold foliage which looks great on it’s own but this plant also has the most stunning flowers too! We struggle to keep up with the demand as it is quite slow to get rooted but once it’s away it’s easy to grow. Our geraniums are like children and pets – they’ve each got their own peculiar ways! But all adorable!

This is a must for any geranium collector or anyone who likes spectacular geraniums! Sometimes throws a pale pink flower within a flower head (but they can be nipped off and removed so as not to spoil the effect!).

This is amazing … it is a completely different type of geranium. It has the ‘normal’ geranium leaves and yet look at these stunning flowerheads! Shaped like fireworks and they are striped in shades of pink, red and white. For some years we have been working on building up stocks to be able to release it and it will be finally ready for next years catalogue (at £5 each) . This really took our breath away! It took Charlie, the breeder, eight years to perfect this variety ready for release. The same flowerhead as Appleblossom Rosebud and set against green and white variegated foliage. A real beauty!
