My mother always likens our collection of plants to when she was a school teacher and taught seven year olds … “some do as they are told and some just do their own thing!” And Hazel is no exception – once the plant is rooted she’s fine but she takes a long time to get there!

What superb dark colours - the outer petals for a 'circle' of almost black and the inner has featherings of blackcurrant. A Regal type which grows reasonably tall so would make a stunning centerpiece of a mixed tub.

Springfield Black

Our biggest selling Regal and it’s not hard to see why. It’s probably the darkest Regal we grow and with it’s excellent habit it easily makes a good plant. It really is almost black. Someone suggested it could be used for growing a black and white display but I prefer a bit of colour myself! This one does look great in a mixed display and also for impact on its own.
