Grow them in a permanent place where you will enjoy them year after year - if they get a bit straggly in time then give them a light haircut and use the clippings to fragrance the home. Pot up plugs into 9cm pots and grow them on in warm frost free conditions for transplanting later on. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Transplant lavender plants into borders and containers in a sunny or semi shaded position.
Feed and water plants frequently whilst they are getting established. Deadhead faded flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. A little trim in April every year will keep them in shape.
We will do our best to ship your plants or bulbs to you at the ideal time for planting as stated against each product. We recommend that you prepare your soil, planting beds or patio containers ahead of time so you are ready to plant out, or pot on, just as soon as your order arrives. You will find the name of the variety printed on the top line of the address label on your package. Please ensure that you open the packaging immediately and carefully read through the instruction leaflet provided. For greatest success, please pot on or plant out as soon as possible, following the cultural instructions enclosed with your order.
