How to Order

On-line: Browse through our site and when you see something you like just enter the number of plants you require and click the Buy Now button. A virtual shopping basket will hold your order while you browse, keeping a list of your plants and the total you have spent. If you want to add or remove plants from your order you can do this when you check-out.

Quick Shop: If you have a brochure and already know which plants you would like then you can quickly add them to your basket using our Quick Shop feature. Simply click Quick Shop on the top menu and you will be taken to a page where you can order plants simply by entering their brochure codes.

By Post: Please complete the order form and post it with the relevant payment by cheque, postal order or supply your card details. Cheques should be payable to “The Vernon Geranium Nursery”. If you do not have an order form, then any piece of paper will do - as long as you include your name, address, payment and when you require delivery. Then post it to:

By Telephone: We are able to accept orders by telephone 24 hours a day on 020 8393 7616.

By Fax: If you have access to a fax you can get yours to talk to ours any time! Fax us on 020 8786 7437. Remember to put your Credit or Debit Card details, expiry date and issue number on the order form.

ALL ORDERS MUST BE PAID FOR IN STERLING

• When your order comes to £30.00 or more we will send a FREE plant of PAC Sassa! The plant will be sent with your order.
• With every order we send a FREE copy of our booklet “Growing The Vernon’s Way”. This includes lots of tips and advice on getting the best from the plants you have ordered.
• If you place an order from this website you will automatically receive a copy of next year’s catalogue FREE.

How Your Plants will Arrive

All our plants are posted as well rooted plugs in our own designed sturdy packaging in which each of the plants is held securely - every one is individually named and has a label with the plant. In fact you may well have seen our packaging shown on BBC 2's Gardeners World show with Alan Titchmarsh

Postage and Packing Charges

Please add the following charges for delivery by first class letter post (these are automatically added to orders placed on this site), which includes the time taken to process your order in the office, the time taken to collect it and pack it, the price of the container, as well as the actual postage money. By devising our own packaging system we have been able to keep these costs to a minimum.

To UK addresses

• £1.95 per order.

To EU addresses

• 1 to 20 plants £11.95
• 21 to 40 plants £14.95
• For each 10 plants above 40
• add £3.00 per 10 or part of 10

Gardening equipment items delivered to EU countries (outside of UK) will unfortunately incur an additiional postage charge due to the carrier system - please enquire directly. The plants can be delivered anywhere in the UK and EU and the P&P prices are as shown above.

Data Protection Act 1984

We are obliged under the above Act to advise you that we have your name and address recorded on our computer. If you wish to see your record please send a stamped addressed envelope and £2.00 to cover the costs. We are sometimes approached by other reputable companies wishing to send promotional material of related products to our customers. If you do not wish to receive any such material from third parties please send written confirmation. Your name will then be removed from our mailing list which will unfortunately mean you will not automatically receive our next catalogue.

Please note that due to regulations we are only able to post plants to countries within the EU. We cannot ship to the Canary Islands as they are not covered by the single market for plants.
