An old favourite variety. This has grey silver foliage and covers itself in these beautiful butterfly magenta pink and white blooms. Grow on it's own or three in a terracotta pot on the patio table or in the conservatory to really show it off. Height: 20cm (8"). Spread: 15cm (6"). More info

Geranium p.sidoides - Part of the Alan Titchmarsh Collection

Pelargonium Species

It’s amazing how pelargoniums have developed over the last few hundred years. Found in their wild state in Africa, there followed much breeding work to bring us to the modern varieties we’re familar with today. Even though their correct name is ‘pelargoniums’, many people know them as ‘geraniums’, but this can lead to confusion with the hardy true geraniums which can stay outdoors all year round. Pelargoniums are tender in Britain and need to be kept frost free in winter. Pelargonium sidoides is a true species discovered in Africa and I love the fact that it’s still available today. With striking burgundy coloured flowers and grey foliage it’s a real beauty. Height: 20cm (8"). Spread: 15cm (6").
