If you like peppermint then you'll love this variety. Introduced in 1790, it has large furry greyish green leaves and such a strong, clear scent of peppermints. The leaves are velvety and have a lovely texture. Great in a mixed tub. Scented Geraniums are fabulous and come in such a wide variation of foliage, flowers and scents. It's amazing to rub a leaf and to enjoy wonderful aromas - Mother Nature's pot pourri! Collect all the varieties to enjoy the ranges of scents from citrus through to nutmeg. Height: 45cm (18"). Spread: 30cm (12").

Pot up plugs into 9cm pots and grow them on in warm frost free conditions for transplanting later on. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Transplant geranium plants into borders and containers in a sunny or semi shaded position.
Feed and water plants frequently. Deadhead faded geranium flowers to encourage more spectacular blooms to be produced.
