The most famous of our geraniums. Introduced in1870, it has been in much demand ever since as it is such a beautful plant to grow and enjoy. Rumoured to have been Queen Victoria's favourite geranium. The flowerheads are so full so as they open they look like roses - hence these are our Rosebud Geraniums. Great for flower arrangers as well as enjoying on their own or in mixed displays. Pot up plugs into 9cm pots and grow them on in warm frost free conditions for transplanting later on. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Transplant geranium plants into borders and containers in a sunny or semi shaded position.
Feed and water plants frequently. Deadhead faded geranium flowers to encourage more spectacular blooms to be produced.

We recommend that you prepare your soil, planting beds or patio containers ahead of time so you are ready to plant out, or pot on, just as soon as your order arrives.
