Pot up plugs into 9cm pots and grow them on in warm frost free conditions for transplanting later on. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Transplant geranium and fuchsia plants into baskets and containers in a sunny or semi shaded position.
Feed and water plants frequently. Deadhead faded geranium and fuchsia flowers to encourage more spectacular blooms to be produced.
We will do our best to ship your plants to you at the ideal time for planting as stated against each product. We recommend that you prepare your soil, planting beds or patio containers ahead of time so you are ready to plant out, or pot on, just as soon as your order arrives. You will find the name of the variety printed on the top line of the address label on your package. Please ensure that you open the packaging immediately and carefully read through the instruction leaflet provided. For greatest success, please pot on or plant out as soon as possible, following the cultural instructions enclosed with your order.

  1. Beautiful selection

    By Vanessa Foster 05-07-2011

This was my first order with vernons and I am so pleased with the quality of these plants - I potted them on for about 6 weeks then planted them into the easyfill baskets. Some of them are coming into flower now I am just waiting for all of the plants to flower and I'm sure I will have a beautiful display, they are such a lovely selection (well done!) the only gripe I have is that I think they are abit on the pricey side
