Fuchsia 'Miniature Collection'

Perennial

These are special - mini fuchsias! They all grow in a compact manner and flower from early on in the season and smother themselves in pretty flowers. You look after them just the same as all your fuchsias and they are easy. We grew some into tiny 'standard' fuchsias and they looked great on the patio table - easy to do yourself and a great way to display them. Height: 25cm (10"). Spread: 20cm (8"). Collection includes: 'Alison Patricia', 'Jollie Nantes', 'Ernie', 'Lambada' and 'Tango'.

Pot up plugs in 7cm pots and grow them on in warm frost free conditions until large enough to transplant into final containers. Pinch out the growing points where stems have more than 2 sets of leaves, while the plants are still small. This will encourage the plants to produce more stems, making a bushier plant with more flowers.
When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise fuchsia plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days. For their final position, grow fuchsia plants in a sunny or semi shaded site. Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season. Deadhead faded fuchsia flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced.
We will do our best to ship your plants or bulbs to you at the ideal time for planting as stated against each product. We recommend that you prepare your soil, planting beds or patio containers ahead of time so you are ready to plant out, or pot on, just as soon as your order arrives. You will find the name of the variety printed on the top line of the address label on your package. Please ensure that you open the packaging immediately and carefully read through the instruction leaflet provided. For greatest success, please pot on or plant out as soon as possible, following the cultural instructions enclosed with your order.
